Teacher Interview/Artifact 1
This artifact highlights an interview with a veteran educator with over 30 years of teaching experience. Through this conversation, I gained insight into the importance of teaching historical contributions that are often overlooked, including stories such as Hidden Figures, the Mercury 13, and the Navajo Code Talkers. The interview encouraged me to reflect on my own values as an educator and the role teachers play in inspiring students through meaningful historical narratives.
